Privacy Policy

Check-6 International, Inc. (“Check-6”) operates, the RIGOR system, the RIGOR ANALYTICS system and various related services (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy (“Policy” or “Privacy Policy”), effective January 1, 2017, informs you of policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information we receive from users of our Services. You acknowledge that this Privacy Policy is part of our Service’s Terms of Use, and by accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by all of its terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use our Services.

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Services after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.

  1. Information Collection and Use


Personal Information: While using our Services, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, region, address, phone number, email address, job title, department and company name or other personally identifying information (“Personal Information”).

We are the sole owners of the information collected on our Services. We only have access to/collect Personal Information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent your Personal Information to anyone outside of Check-6 and its parents, affiliates and subsidiaries. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request. We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials.

Analytical Information: Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you use our Services. This information may include but is not limited to information such as your computer’s internet protocol address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Services that you visit, the Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) of the website that you just came from, which URL you next go to the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.


In addition to browser sent information, we collect information relating to your use of our Services. Collected information may include general business information, transactional information, financial information, non-personally identifiable raw data uploaded by users or other information collected through your use of our Services. In addition, we may or we may use third party services to collect, monitor and analyze this information. By way of example, Check-6 may use aggregated data to improve the Services, design additional applications, or provide opportunities for business analysis.


Third Party Information: We may receive information about you from third parties. For example, if you access our Services through a third-party connection or log-in, for example, through Facebook Connect, by “following,” “liking,” Check-6, that third party may pass certain information about your use of its service to Check-6. This information could include, but is not limited to, the user ID associated with your account (for example, your Facebook UID), an access token necessary to access that service, any information that you have permitted the third party to share with us, and any information you have made public in connection with that service.


Clear Gifs Information: When you use our Services, we may employ clear gifs (also known as web beacons) which are used to anonymously track the online usage patterns of users. In addition, we may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. The information is allows for more accurate reporting and improvement of the Service.


Cookies: Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Like many sites, we use “cookies” to collect information. A cookie may also convey information to us about how you use our Services (e.g., the pages you view, the links you click and other actions you take on our Services), and allow us or our business partners to track your usage of our Services over time.   1. Information Sharing


Sharing of Analytical Information: We may provide Analytical Information about our customers’ sales, traffic patterns, and any related site information to third party advertisers, but these statistics do not include any Personal Information.


Sharing of Personal Information: Any information that you voluntarily disclose by posting to our Services becomes available to the public and cannot be removed, except by Check-6 in its sole discretion. Once posted on the Services, information may not be removable from public view, as copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of the Services, on other sites that have republished us, or if others have copied or saved that information. If you do not wish your information to be available to the public, please don’t post it on our Services. Your username and if you choose to disclose it, your real name, will be published publicly. Once published your username and / or real name may not be able to be removed.


Information Sharing Required by Law: Check-6 will disclose your information where required to do so by law or subpoena or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to (a) comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement; (b) to enforce our Terms of Use or to protect the security, quality or integrity of our Services; and/or (c) to exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Check-6 or others.

Information Storage: Information collected through the Services may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Check-6 or its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, or service providers maintain facilities. Check-6 may transfer information that we collect about you, including personal information, to affiliated entities, or to other third parties across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that we may transfer information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction, and you consent to the transfer of information to the U.S. or any other country in which Check-6 or its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, or service providers maintain facilities and the use and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy.


Security: Wherever we collect Personal Information from you on our Services, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the Web page. The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.


Our website contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our Services and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.


In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, Check-6 will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.


  1. Children’s Privacy


Check-6 does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13. Our Services and their content are not directed at children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us.
